Fix It Film: Do It Yourself Home Repair VideosI'm a very visual person and I need to see how to do a certain home repair. I'll admit it, when I put my daughters bikes together, I only looked at the pictures in the manual. I tend to be the same way when it comes to do it yourself projects as well. I like to see how something works and then I can actually do it myself with out much problem. That is why I have recorded myself doing lots of home maintenance, home updating, home improvement projects and have them for you here on this page. If I need to sit there and read a manual to understand how to fix something, then I'll be there for hours. Don't get me wrong, I can do it, however, I feel that's because I've fixed a lot of things in my time and I have a good understanding of 'repair manual jargon'. It's great to be able to read something and get the project done, however, it tends to be so much easier to just see a the project done first hand and then do it yourself. Isn't that how our kids learn? they see us use the computer and they want to type as well. They see their big sister jumping off of the couch and they want to do the same thing.
